How to Make Decorative Mug Handles 

Pulling handles may be a little tricky for beginner potters. This method is an easy way to roll out a handle and add texture to it at the same time. Choosing a transparent glaze or and underglaze will really accentuate the impressed design. Several different types of stamps are available online. Antique wooden textile stamps work very well with this technique as well as the soft rubber types used in the video below. For the video I used a Mayco brand stamp Mayco Leafy Stamp.
